Hello, I'm Jada Wright, a proud New Yorker now living in Philadelphia. Sustainability in the economy is more than just a buzzword to me—it's a guiding principle that shapes my worldview. To me, sustainability means finding a balance between economic growth and environmental responsibility. It's about developing innovative solutions that not only drive financial success but also prioritize the well-being of our planet and future generations. I believe in creating a circular economy that minimizes waste, embraces renewable resources, and promotes ethical practices. Sustainability in the economy empowers businesses and individuals to make conscious choices that contribute to a healthier, more equitable world. Join me and my team on this journey towards a sustainable future!
My name is Mark McGraw, and I am working to receive my bachelor’s in marketing. I live in Vicksburg, Mississippi, where I was born and raised. I am currently employed as a patient experience navigator for my local hospital. Human rights have always been a global challenge that has fascinated and concerned me. In an ideal world, housing and healthcare would be included as basic human rights. I also believe that equitable access to education is a human right that should not be infringed on. Sustainability is important to me because if we live sustainably, we can preserve these rights not just for ourselves but for the generations to come. Our mission is about ensuring that everyone has the same rights and opportunities to create sustainable economic growth in their communities.
I’m Austin Cunningham, a dropout turned honors student from Tucson, Arizona. To me, sustainability is about preserving the integrity of our future for our children. One of the greatest problems of the modern world is the constant pressure to drive economic growth. Using Gross Domestic Product as the sole indicator of economic wellbeing has created an arms race to burn up the world’s finite resources. I dream of creating a world where economies and the planet can thrive together. Sustrainability is about providing equitable access to the tools that can help create economic growth in a way that will preserve the future, not destroy it.
